Bel Canto - The Glenn Miller Orchestra

Step back in time to the sounds of the world famous Glenn Miller Orchestra at Bel Canto - an evening of musical excellence.

Bel Canto is our annual gala and fundraiser, and this year takes place on Saturday, October 28 from 5 to 9 PM at USET Foundation's historic Hamilton Farm Stables in Gladstone. There will be cocktails and dancing, and 1930's period dress is encouraged. 

Raising funds to benefit Music in the Somerset Hills, Bel Canto kicks off our 2017/18 season, which will feature six concerts, including two by our own Somerset Hills Community Chorus (a December collaboration with the Canadian Brass and a March concert of African American music with Donald Dumpson), the Antioch Chamber Ensemble, Westminster Williamson Voices, and Movie Music in the Park.   

Proceeds raised at Bel Canto will be used to help fund these concerts, as well as our continuing music education mission, which includes summer camps, an early childhood program, and a young musicians scholarship.
