The 14th annual Winter Wildlands Alliance Backcountry Film Festival will show in Steamboat Springs on February 16. Learn about the impact and importance of our winter wildlands through a collection of short films. All proceeds will benefit Yampatika and Friends of the Routt Backcountry. Doors open at 6.00 pm.


Produced each year as a celebratory backcountry community event, the 14th Annual Backcountry Film Festival is full of snowy, cinematic adventure sure to inspire both the local backcountry enthusiasts and general communities. Yampatika is passionate about connecting people to nature and inspiring environmental stewardship through education. Winter Wildlands Alliance is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting and preserving winter wildlands and a quality human-powered snow sports experience on public lands. This years’ Local Title Sponsor which is ‘Essentrics with Susan.’ Essentrics rebalances your body by lengthening and strengthening every muscle which results in fewer injuries, faster recovery and more seasons in the backcountry.
