Austin's Best Rising Comic: A One Night Competition Honoring Nick Roche
The Austin comedy scene is the fastest growing comedy scene in the country, and it’s only getting better. It has become a mecca for comedy legends and aspiring comics alike. The Creek and The Cave has become a home base for many of the comics in the community. With mics and locally produced shows occurring every single day, The Creek has welcomed its stage to all styles of comedy. In honor of local comedic legend, Nick Roche, The Creek has teamed up with his family to create this one night competition.
The best bookers and celebrity comic judges will come together to discover the best new rising comic in Austin. All of the comedians competing are local to Austin and have what it takes to become the next big star. With a cash grand prize and a chance to be seen before a panel of experts, this competition will provide a huge opportunity to one of these young and talented people!
