It’s BFF 2025, the 10th Annual BFF Binge Fringe Festival of FREE Theatre, October 14 through November 16, the only FREE Fringe Festival in the nation, offering 36 in-person plays, workshops and family-oriented events, today presenting:
Marilynn runs a weekly support group for parents of children struggling with learning disabilities. These parents are as diverse as their children’s needs, but Marilynn continually seeks to meet them with empathy, while also exploring her own journey with forgiveness and breaking generational patterns. The parent group explores challenges related to ADHD, math, reading, and other learning disabilities. The parents rediscover that parenting doesn’t stop at the classroom door; it’s a never-ending job that’s best done with a healthy dose of forgiveness. Watch their trials, tribulations, and joys of raising children with so many needs unfold. This show is not autobiographical, but rather an amalgamation of the many years spent in private practice working with children who struggle with the learning process, as well as supporting their families. Written & Performed by Maria Fagan Hassani; Director, Developer & Character Coach Heather Dowling; Produced by Jessica Lynn Johnson; Acting Coach Christinna Chauncey.
