Event Description

Art can play an important role in addiction recovery, it can also be used as a way to humanize the plight of individuals experiencing addiction. Join WBEZ reporter Carrie Shepherd on October 16th for a community-driven experience that will feature Chicago artists who have been impacted by addiction. This evening will feature a photography gallery, storytelling and an opportunity for attendees to have their stories and experiences recorded.

This event will be recorded, individuals who do not wish to be on camera might not want to attend. Please be advised that drug use and other sensitive topics will be discussed, attendee discretion is advised.
