The Argyle Street Band

Original members Tom Walsh & Ron Davis will be included
In the mid-1970's, several Buffalo-area musicians headed west for the epicenter of the industry, Los Angeles. Eventually finding their common musical roots, and taking their name from the street they lived on in Hollywood, Buffalo natives Ron Davis (keyboards), Willie Schoellkopf (guitar & vocals), Doug Morgano (guitars), and Steve Sadoff (bass) returned in 1978 as the newly formed “Argyle Street Band.”
The Emphasis of Argyle was original music. Flavors of R&B, country, & jazz/funk could be heard in their unique, diverse sound.
The Original band, featuring LA session drummer Tommy Walsh (Spyro Gyra, America, Joe Cocker, etc.), will be providing musical memories on Thurs. July 22 $15 @ the Sportsmen Tavern, 326 Amherst St.
