Event Description

Angst: raising awareness around anxiety

A short presentation by Film Narrator, Jenny Howe
preceding the screening, and Q&A time
with Ms. Howe following the movie

The Angst project is an IndieFlix Original, documentary designed to raise awareness around anxiety with an emphasis on youth and families. The film includes interviews with kids, teens, experts and parents. Our goal specifically is to help people identify and understand the symptoms of anxiety and encourage them to reach out for help. Angst will be screened in schools, communities and theaters around the world. The film and corresponding materials provide tools, resources and hope.

Jenny Howe is a licensed
therapist with degrees in
Psychology and Child &
Family Studies. For the last
20 years, she has worked
extensively with youth and
adolescents in the criminal
justice and public school
systems, and has dealt
with issues such as school
avoidance, anxiety disorders,
depressive disorders,
Autism Spectrum disorders,
behavioral issues, and trauma
and attachment based
disorders. Jenny believes
all adolescents have the
capability to become the best
version of themselves and
loves watching them discover
their potential.
