IndieFlix Shines the Light on Anxiety with Must-See Documentary,


“ANGST: RAISING AWARENESS AROUND ANXIETY”


On February 7, 2019 at 6:30pm, the Anchorage Parent Teacher Association will hold a special screening of the 56-minute documentary in the Anchorage School Auditorium. All adults in the community are welcome and middle and high school students may attend with their parent/guardian. Free tickets are now available and space is limited!


Complimentary childcare for family members of attendees will be provided by Anchorage School.  Children must be toilet-trained to be eligible for childcare and advance registration is required.


Adults are encouraged to join the APTA for a reflection on the film on February 13th at 9:00am at the Gabriele-Burke home located at 1111 Bellewood Road.  Anchorage School Counselor, Sara Wiles, will host a lunch discussion on February 8th for APS students that attend the screening.  


The Angst project is an IndieFlix Original documentary designed to raise awareness around anxiety, with an emphasis on youth and families. The film includes interviews with kids, teens, experts, and parents. The film's goal is to help people identify and understand the symptoms of anxiety and encourage them to reach out for help.
