Andrew Finn Magill's Polaris Project Residency

Multi-genre violinist/fiddler Andrew Finn Magill brings his jazz quartet to Natalie's for a special three-night residency of Brazilian-inspired original music and jazz standards. Magill has been featured on NPR, TEDx, and MTV. He is a Fulbright Fellow, North Carolina Arts Council Fellow for jazz composition and is signed to Ropeadope Records (Snarky Puppy, Robert Glasper, Eddie Palmieri). Hailing from Asheville, North Carolina, he has performed with many North Carolina jazz musicians such as Michael Jefrey Stephens and Michael Gamble and toured internationally with a range of projects, including his own project of Brazilian-inspired original music Canta, Violino! Says legendary Brazilian percussionist Airto Moreira (Miles Davis, Weather Report, Chick Corea): "He can fool you into thinking he is from Brazil!" and legendary jazz violinist and founder of the American Roots program at Berklee College of music Matt Glaser says "Andrew Finn Magill is an extraordinary violin virtuoso."
