American Idol's Nick Townsend - the upcoming, aspiring singer/songwriter turned overnight sensation after delivering a moving audition on this season's American Idol in front of judges Luke Bryan, Katy Perry and Lionel Richie. Leaving small town Tekamah, NE, he enrolled in a Southern California performing arts college. Excelling from the start, landing solos for the start. Also having the opportunity to tour where he taught and performed for thousands of kids and adults in over 20 countries and all over the United States. After being deeply affected by the places he went and people he met, he knew his purpose was to change the world using his musical ability and infectious, optimistic personality to not only bring joy to others through, but also give them a sense of empowerment, assurance and self-importance. 

Being cut going into the Top 20 on this season of American Idol may seem like a loss to others, but the platform to share his voice, insight and resilience to millions of viewers only reassured his prior devotion to helping others through music.
