BECKY BRAUNSTEIN
Becky Braunstein grew up on a mountain in Eagle River, Alaska, moved to America after being diagnosed with metastatic thyroid cancer and almost losing her voice forever - but she didn’t lose it, and now she won’t shut up. Becky is a weirdly likable actor & comedian with a half hour special as part of Unprotected Sets on MGM+, and can be seen on Chad (Roku), Trinkets (Netflix), and Shrill (Hulu). She directed the music video for 'Hey New Zealand' by The Exbats, and co-wrote an award winning pilot, Cancer Culture, about her cancer experience. She has been featured in nearly every major comedy festival in the US, including Bridgetown, Big Sky, Laughing Skull, and SF Sketchfest, and recently headlined the 2023 Alaska B4UDIE Comedy Festival. Becky competed in the National Spelling Bee in 1997, is about half fluent in German, and dreams of someday living in a house with central air.
LAURA HOUSE
Laura House is an actress, comic, writer and teacher. She was discovered in Austin, Texas while performing stand-up comedy at night and teaching seventh grade by day. She was featured in HBO's Aspen Comedy Festival, then starred on Mtv's first scripted sit-com "Austin Stories." Later she performed on Comedy Central's "Premium Blend" and other stand-up shows while continuing acting and writing. She played a hillbilly slut opposite Natalie Portman in "Where the Heart is." Laura has written on hit TV shows including the Emmy-winning "Samantha Who?" and "Mom." She has developed a "Super Mom" show with Barry Sonnenfeld for ABC, a sketch show featuring Rachel Crow for Nickelodeon and a lady-slacker show with Katey Sagal for FX. She's published in three books, including "True Tales of Lust and Love," "Comedy Film Nerds Guide to the Movies, and "Stricken: The 5000 Stages of Grief." She's an LA favorite at stand-up and storytelling shows. She also teaches pitching, writing and meditation.
J. COOKIE
J.Cookie is a comic out of Houston, Tx that became a comic after her appearance on The Judge Mathis Show. There, she was embarrassed when they called her a Promiscuous Pill Popper that cheats on her husband. Turning that pain into triumph, she used those attacks as the punchline of her jokes. She quickly became one of the hottest up & coming comics on the Houston scene. Never knowing she would become a comic, she became one after the death of her husband. Only wanting to try it as a hobby, it quickly became her passion. She's featured in Houston's prominent clubs such as Improv, Rudyard's (host to The Riot Comedy Club). You can find her in venues across the city bringing her unique and humorous perspective to her sometimes tumultuous life.
JUNO MEN
Juno Men (she/her) is a Seattle-based comedian and writer. She is openly transgender and obviously asian, the daughter of Cambodian immigrants. Her credits include the Upper Left Comedy Festival, Don’t Tell Comedy Seattle and Portland, opening for Chris Gethard, the Seattle Moth storyslam, and making her 94 year old non-english speaking grandma laugh more than her siblings and cousins combined. She can be found online on instagram @seattlejuno.
TRACY HAMILTON
Tracy Hamilton is a Toronto based stand up comedian, and host of the award-nominated podcast Love Is Everywhere. Her conversational style and cheerful sarcasm will make you feel as comfortable as she feels in her many cardigans. She performed in The Winnipeg Comedy Festival, has been published on CBC Comedy, and has opened for headlining acts such as Cameron Esposito, and Chris Gethard, among others. Her dog is also very cute.
RACHEL ABRAMS
Rachel hosts a bi-weekly mic at the Improv to help amplify female and non-binary voices, and recently performed at Laugh After Dark fest in Vegas and Motor City Comedy Festival in Detroit. She’s been told she gives off “mean girl energy,” but if you catch one of her shows, you’ll feel like you made a new friend. She can be seen performing locally at clubs, across the country (Laugh Factory Chicago), and at your best friend’s-neighbor’s-cousin’s-backyard show.
