This event is open to members only. You must purchase a membership ticket if you are not a current FWRHS member.
- Select your preferred date and time and checkout
- If you're not already a current member, purchase a membership with your tour ticket. Each member may bring one guest and they must also have a ticket.
- Download, print and sign waivers for entry
- Check your email for tickets, sales receipts and updates
- Plan to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled tour time
- Includes a boxed lunch (served after the morning tour and before the afternoon tour)

Join the Fort Wayne Railroad Historical Society for two full days of tours at the Age of Steam Roundhouse on September 16th and September 23rd. Each tour is open exclusively to Society members and a guest. Cost is $40.00 per person and tours begin promptly at 9:30AM and 1:00PM each Saturday.
These 2-hour tours will take visitors through the 18-stall roundhouse, backshop and historic collection of the Age of Steam Foundation. The incredible roundhouse complex is home to 19 steam locomotives, including Berkshire no. 763 – sister to the Society’s own no. 765. The 765 will also be operating at the nearby Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad on the same weekends.
The Age of Steam Roundhouse is a private facility not open to the public. Tickets are very limited and members must make their own travel accommodations. Participation requires reading and signing the liability waiver that will be forwarded to all participants prior to the date. Failure to print, sign, and bring the waiver will result in non-participation. Attendees must arrive promptly at their tour time – no late arrivals or individual tours will be permitted. Children under 10 are not permitted. A separate waiver form for children age 10-18 will be required. All visitors must wear appropriate, closed-toe footwear (i.e. no sandals or high-heels.) No refunds or rainchecks.
