Honoring Heritage Through Song

Established by the AGBU Western District Committee in November 2018, the AGBU Los Angeles Choir will have its debut concert on Sunday, November 17! Join us for a night of music celebrating and honoring our most cherished cultural treasures. With over 30 years of choral experience, Maestro Gayane Baghdasaryan Ph.D/D.M.A, of the Komitas State Conservatory, has thoughtfully curated a repertoire that will take listeners on a journey through the ages, from the ethereal and timeless masterpieces of Komitas, to the enduring folk songs of the Armenian highlands, and finally into the glittering city lights of Yerevan with jazzy selections from the mid-20th century.
