Enjoy a creative collection of music performed by Shenandoah Conservatory students of Victor Brown, chair in violin, and Associate Professor Akemi Takayama. The afternoon program will include a performace of Pachelbel’s Canon in D, Mozart’s Rondo Alla Turca (arranged by Larry Clark), Concerto for Four Violins by Georg Philipp Telemann, Études-Caprices, Op 18 by Henryk Wieniawski, Danse Macabre by Camille Saint-Saens (arranged by Harry Alshin), Navarra by Pablo de Sarasate, and the First and Fifth Movements from Grieg’s Holberg Suite.
Arrive early and see Our Strength is Our People: The Humanist Photos of Lewis Hine and Vital Force before the concert. Both exhibitions are on view in the Changing Exhibitions Gallery.
Free to MSV Members, SU students & faculty, and ages 12 & under; all others: $10 (includes gallery admission). Limited concert seating is first-come, first-served; pre-register online or call 540-662-1473, ext. 240.

Refunds for Programs and Special Events: Programs are held rain, snow, or shine, unless notified otherwise. Cancellations 5 days prior to the program or event date will be refunded, less 20% of the registration fee ($5 minimum). No refunds will be given for cancellations made 1-4 days prior to the program/event date. Allow ten business days for refund processing. Programs cancelled by the MSV due to low enrollment or inclement weather conditions will be refunded in full or given a full credit towards a future program to be used within the year.
