Let's be clear: Music is not black or white. Music is a language; a form of communication that has the right to cross boundaries, migrate and be accepted by whoever chooses.

Somewhere inside all this music lives Adam Bailie, the alt-singer-songwriter that has been performing shows, producing albums, licensing songs, and taking his craft serious for over a decade. His style is one that celebrates music from all walks of life. Using the acoustic guitar as the backbone and lyrics as the body, he allows songs to come from the heart fearlessly. His ability to write songs (he describes as "channeling") is often instant and very abundant. Adam believes that music and lyrics should be whatever they want to be.

"Being political within music isn't a bad idea. It's the same as religion or even heartache. It's just another form of artistic expression and people have the ability to take it or leave it. "

Melissa Lamm is an independent pop singer and songwriter based in Toronto, Canada. She combines her love of pop music with thoughtful lyrics and ambient tracks for a chill-pop sound that is all her own. Her soundscape is influenced by electropop artists like Lights, Zedd, Owl City, and tropical house artist Astrid S. Some of Melissa’s favourite songwriters include John Mayer, Kacey Musgraves, Julia Michaels, and Donovan Woods. She digitally released her first single, “Blessings,” in June of 2017, and since then has released “Over It” and “Arizona.”

As a child growing up in Ottawa, ON, Melissa would spend hours learning to play her favourite songs on the piano by ear. At the age of nine, Melissa began analyzing lyrics and writing songs of her own. Melissa has earned her Grade 8 Piano Certification with the Royal Conservatory of Music and has studied pop vocal technique with renowned Ottawa teacher Trina Langthorne. Melissa graduated from Carleton University’s Bachelor of Arts Honours program in 2015 with a specialization in music and English literature.

The Space Between is an independent country/folk duo comprised of Sonja Seiler and Eric Sorenson that weaves together simple melodies and evocative harmonies to create a stirring live performance. Their powerful original songs and unique interpretations of time-honoured classics give their live show a flavour that seems at once both old and new, familiar and fresh.
