A Jukebox for the Algonquin

At the Placid Pines Senior Care Center in upstate New York's Adirondack Mountains, all that the feisty residents want is a jukebox for dancing in their rec room, the Algonquin. That simple desire leads to a side-splitting roller-coaster journey as they hatch a fundraising scheme to fulfill their dream.

Dates: January 23, 24, 30, 31 & Feb. 6, 7, 2026 at 8 pm. Sunday matinees at 2 pm on January 25 and February 1st.

Tickets: Adults - $23. Seniors 62 & over - $21. Youth 18 & under - $21. Plus $3 service fee per ticket. 

Location: St. Dunstan's indoor Playhouse, 400 Lone Pine Rd between Woodward & Lahser in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan

Accessibility: We regret that there is NO elevator in this 102 year old building. Lobby and restrooms are on the first floor, performance is on the second floor.  Assistive hearing devices are available at the ticket counter.

Parking: In the boulevard across from the Playhouse; in the Cranbrook House & Gardens lot at 380 Lone Pine Rd; and at Christ Church Cranbrook. Look for "Theatre Parking" signs.  Please allow ample time for walking. Late arrivals will be seated at the discretion of the ushers.
