Join honorary chair Maris A. Bondi, featured artist Dave DiCello, and auction emcee Sally Wiggin at the National Aviary for the Opening Soirée & Benefit Auction.
After last year’s successful resurgence of the Wings & Wildlife Art Show, this year’s show returns to the National Aviary highlighting thirty-four artists from five states.
About the 2016 featured artist: Dave Dicello is a Pittsburgh photographer whose main subject is the city he grew up. Whether it's from on top of a building, standing on a frozen river, or high up in a helicopter, Dave captures unique angles of the Steel City, natural landscapes, and animals, always searching for a fresh perspective.
Over heavy hors d’oeuvres and cocktails, guests will have the opportunity to meet the artists and see and purchase their work prior to the Show’s public debut. Throughout the evening, unique Aviary experiences, works of art, and other one-of-a-kind items will be up for bidding during silent and live auctions. All proceeds benefit the National Aviary’s avian medicine, education, and conservation programs locally and internationally.
