You are cordially invited to join Tyler Mirt, Certified Sommelier / Certified Specialist of Wine at Beyond the Label's tasting room for and educational tasting class, exploring the world of wine.

The ABC's
Intro to Wine

This class will focus on the basics, how to evaluate a wine by sight, smell and taste. We will explore different styles of both red and white wines so you may discover not only what type of wine you like but, more importantly, why you like it.

Small snacks such as cheese, meats and crackers will be provided.

Learning how to taste wine is a straightforward adventure that will deepen your appreciation for both wine and winemakers. Look, smell, taste - starting with your basic senses and expanding from there you will learn how to taste wine like the pros in no time! Keep in mind that you can smell thousands of unique scents, but your taste perception is limited to salty, sweet, sour and bitter. It is the combination of smell and taste that allows you to discern flavor.

There are two ticket prices for this event. $25 for"social wine taster", this ticket gets you into the event, or $30 for "supportive wine taster", this gets you into the event and includes a $5 donation to Missy's "Keys4Cabs". This is a full bar, you must provide a valid I.D. and be at least 21 years of age to participate.
