Women in Business Downstate Luncheon

The Women in Business, Downstate Luncheon recognizes the accomplishments of the businesswomen profiled in Delaware Today's Women in Business editorial feature. Seek new ways to connect, grow, achieve success, and expand business opportunities by attending the Women in Business Downstate Luncheon.

The highlight of this year’s Downstate event will be Carrie Leishman, President & CEO of the Delaware Restaurant Association (DRA) and its philanthropic arm--The Delaware Restaurant Association Educational Foundation (DRAEF). As the state trade association dedicated to promoting, educating and advocating for the Delaware food-service industry, the DRA represents close to 2,000 restaurants throughout the state.  Leishman is credited with building and strengthening the DRA.  Eighteen years ago, she took a handful of members and a miniscule yearly budget and turned the association into one of the most influential business organizations in the state.
