WBCA COMEDY JAM FOR GEORGE 2013

Laredo, Texas – Laredo Little Theatre officials have announced the official line up for this year’s WBCA Comedy Jam for George. There’s something funny for everybody with the comedic styling’s of Ponchi Herrera, Gretchen Hess and Patrick Candelaria. The hilarious event is scheduled for Friday, February 15th, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.

The talented comedy lineup includes Laredo’s own Ponchi Herrera returning as the event’s official host. Ponchi has performed with Carlos Mencia, Paul Rodriguez, Gabriel Iglesias, and was featured on Galavision’s “Loco Comedy Jam.”

The hilarious comedian Gretchen Hess was born and raised in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. She’s a seasoned performer touring nationally for over 5 years. Hess got her start as an executive producer and host of her own morning show on the Resort Sports Network and ESPN2. After six years at Comedy Works in Denver, Colorado she has earned a spot on the club's Almost Famous list.

Partick Candelaria brings on big laughs with a 17 year career in comedy. He has proudly performed twelve overseas tours in the past ten years and has released two full-length comedy CDs, “World’s Largest Ceiling Fan” and “Operation: Big Slow Target.” Candelaria has even caught the attention of big headliners! “Pound for pound, one of the funniest comics out there,” says George Lopez and Tommy Chong called Patrick, “A very funny Mexican”.
