Venice and Rome

The Ensemble of soprano Pascale Beaudin, Olivier Brault, Tatiana Chulochnikova, Loretta O'Sullivan and Andrew Appel take us to 17th century Venice with music of Monteverdi and the earliest and dark cantatas of Antonio Caldara, to the amazing, inspired dramatic cantatas of the young Handel in Rome and the bright Venitian vitality of Antonio Vivaldi.  A celebration to end our return to Merkin Hall and our 2016 New York Concert series.
