A four-stage, three-day celebration of American roots music, Flood City attracts thousands of enthusiastic music fans every summer. Once the co-producer of the National Folk Festival during its three-year run in Johnstown and the exclusive producer of the Johnstown FolkFest since 1993, the Johnstown Area Heritage Association is taking this annual music festival to new heights and to a place firmly in the forefront of the best regional festivals in the country. Rolling Stone's best new band of 2010, Grace Potter and the Nocturnals played Flood City in 2009. Los Lobos and Robert Cray were here in 2010. The 2011 lineup included Gregg Allman, Bettye LaVette and Black Joe Lewis & the Honeybears, The list of Grammy nominees and first-rate musicians goes on and includes Derek Trucks, Galactic, Donna the Buffalo and Anders Osborne.

And the festival will be held in the newly completed Peoples Natural Gas Park. The Park features the 600-seat Polacek Pavilion and a 560-seat industrial building turned into an indoor venue (The Oilhouse).
The VIP Lounge has moved from the historic Train Station to the renovated Oilhouse. This facility features new restrooms and a stage that will feature performances throughout festival including the late night sets.
