The Grass Is Dead & Workingmans Dead
Alternating sets
The Grass is Dead has been performing since 1997 when the band was formed in South Florida when Billy Gilmore and friends from Crazy Fingers got together doing acoustic Grateful Dead Music as a side project. With Billy's strong background in Bluegrass & Old-Time music, he began arranging Grateful Dead tunes in a Bluegrass format and gave the foundation for the Grass is Dead. The group recorded three albums of Grateful Dead tunes and performed in South Florida for more than 15 years including some out of state shows and regional performances as well. The band has played hundreds of shows together over the course of more than a decade & have plans to re-unite in 2015 and will announce further plans shortly....
