What is the Fight:
The inaugural Great American Water Balloon Fight is being held to support the fight against global poverty. Proceeds will benefit Team Tassy, whose mission is to unleash the inherent power in every person to eliminate global poverty. The funds raised will go towards our work in Haiti.

We believe that giving should be a joy. What's more fun than 3,000 people throwing over 100,000 water balloons all in the name of ending world poverty? Thanks for joining the fight. We'll see you in the splash zone.

How the Fight Works:
3000 people, divided into four teams, will converge in the “Splash Zone” at Point State Park in downtown Pittsburgh to fight it out with 100,000 water balloons. Each team will have a celebrity captain to lead it into battle. Individuals are eligible to purchase more balloons for their own teams, giving themselves a higher chance of being crowned the inaugural Water Balloon Fight champion. Blast the opposing teams with as many water balloons as possible leaving them soaking wet and the driest team wins.

The Festivities:
Registration opens at 11am. The Fight commences at 1pm. Come and enjoy live music from four great bands and a DJ, food trucks serving up awesome local foods, and a stunning display of 100,000 water balloons. At the conclusion of the fight, the bands will wrap up with a concert at 2pm. The event is family friendly and kids are welcomed to come and enjoy the day outside of the “Splash Zone.”
