Steel to Sustainable Festival

Rivers of Steel National Heritage Area proudly presents the Steel to Sustainable Festival at Carrie Furnaces on Saturday, April 23rd as part of the Pittsburgh Earth Day 2016 celebration, featuring performances by Barrels to Beethoven, Colonel Eagleburger's Highstepping Goodtime Band, Red Room Effect and Daily Grind.

The event will also feature a Hard Hat Art Show featuring local Pittsburgh artists in celebration of the 100th anniversary of the hard hat.

Student tickets are available for $15. Student ID must be presented at the door.

Bring cash for on-site food trucks including Second Breakfast, La Palapa, Mexican Gourmet Kitchen, and Randita's.

Over 21? Purchase a beer bracelet for $20 and enjoy brews all evening, thanks to Round Corner Cantina and Wilson McGinley.

This is a solar powered event via our partners at ZeroFossil.

No re-entry. Attire is casual. We strongly encourage comfortable shoes for safety at this historical site

All proceeds of the Steel to Sustainable Festival benefit Rivers of Steel Heritage Corp., a nonprofit with the mission of preserving and interpreting industrial heritage throughout Southwestern Pennsylvania. Learn more by visiting
