Along with our friends from the Independent Film Festival Boston, we are thrilled to welcome legendary comedian Bobcat Goldthwait to the Brattle to present this special 25th anniversary screening of his directorial debut, SHAKES THE CLOWN. This thinly-veiled, darkly-comic excoriation of the stand-up comedy world features Bobcat as a depressed, alcoholic birthday party clown who finds himself framed for murder.
