Steven Maier (vocals/guitar) and Gent Laird (bass) were runners-up in the second Tusq Duo Competition.  Since that time, the duo has morphed into a jazz group featuring Steven’s velvet vocals, renditions of jazz standards, and several pop-infused originals.
