Rocks in my Pockets

Combining both papier-mache stop-motion and hand-drawn animation, this feature will represent Lativa as their official at the Oscars next year. It tells a quintet of fantastical tales based on events experienced by the women in her family – including herself – all of whom battled madness and depression. Narrated throughout by the filmmaker-animator, these stories of romance, political upheaval, work, and family are filled with hope and humor.
