Rob McIlroy and Friends

Rob McIlroy – Rob is a songwriter from the Pittsburgh area.  His recordings cross the genres of Americana, country and country rock.  Many of his Americana songs trace back to his Pittsburgh roots and explore the pride and work ethic of a blue collar town.  His country songs often have a lighter side with wittier lyrics.  Rob records his works with many well-known local artists around the Pittsburgh area.

Rick Witkowski – Whether he is playing guitar, songwriting or producing, Rick is an icon of the Pittsburgh music scene.  Rick currently plays guitar for B.E.Taylor, writes jingles and themes for major broadcast networks and runs Studio L.  Rick has produced albums for Pittsburgh greats like Donnie Iris and Joe Grushecky, including a track with Bruce Springsteen.   In his spare time, Rick runs an all-star band of local musicians to play charitable events in and around Pittsburgh.

Anthony Rankin – Anthony is a Pittsburgh native living in Nashville.  He is an experienced musician, recording artist, producer and songwriter.  While in Pittsburgh Anthony fronted the Anthony Rankin Band and was a session musician and engineer at Studio L.  Currently Anthony is on tour playing guitar and keyboard for ACM and CMA award winning duo Thompson Square.  This year Anthony also released his solo pop EP series “Love Elektrik.”

Sean McDonald – After years as a drummer and touring musician, Sean returned to Pittsburgh to form Sofa King Music Services and Red Medicine Recording Studio.  Sean has worked with legendary artists like The Four Tops, Aretha Franklin and Bo Didley for the PBS “American Soundtrack” and “My Music” series.  He has also produced some of Pittsburgh’s greatest bands including The Clarks.  Sean is passionate about capturing and creating compelling music.
