Event Description
The Pittsburgh chapter of the Labor Council for Latin American Advancement (LCLAA) celebrates Hispanic Heritage month with a celebration of Hispanic culture and a remembrance of the life and legacy of the most famous Latino associated with Pittsburgh, the great Pittsburgh Pirate Hall of Famer Roberto Clemente. Enjoy fine Chilean wine, delicious Puerto Rican cuisine, and exquisite live Flamenco dance and music from Alba Flamenca as well as access to the Clemente Museum. Net proceeds of the event go to Casa San Jose, a nonprofit based in the South Hills neighborhood of Brookline that provides vital social services to Latin American immigrants and their families.
