Pink Smoke Over The Vatican

This award winning documentary follows the controversial struggle of women who seek to be ordained as Roman Catholic priests. Along their paths to priesthood these women face excommunication, ethical struggles, entrenched church tradition and prejudice. Also featuring the story of Fr. Roy Bourgeois, one of the few Roman Catholic male leaders who publicly support women's ordination.

Respected Maryknoll priest and advocate for social justice, presently facing expulsion from his Maryknoll order and threatened with laicization by the Vatican for his support of the ordination of women.
