On Monday, June 16, 2014, Madeleine Albright, Former U.S. Secretary of State and Wellesley College Class of 1959, will return to Wellesley for a special conversation with President H. Kim Bottomly about her pin collection and foreign policy. Secretary Albright will discuss her jewel box diplomacy, take questions from the audience, and sign copies of her book Read My Pins: Stories from a Diplomat’s Jewel Box (Harper Collins, 2009). The event is presented in conjunction with the exhibition Read My Pins: The Madeleine Albright Collection, on view at the Davis Museum at Wellesley College from June 9 to July 20, 2014.
The conversation will take place in the Alumnae Hall Auditorium at 7:00pm, with a book signing to follow in the Alumnae Hall Ballroom. Doors open at 6:30pm. Visitors attending the event should park in the Davis Parking Garage (first right after entering campus from the Route 135 entrance).
