The Pittsburgh Earth Day's Celebrate Sustainability Speakers Event seeks to inspire area businesses with an impressive lineup of experts examining the critical role businesses play in the sustainability movement. Attendees will learn how the business community helps to put Pittsburgh on the map as an internationally recognized hub for sustainability and innovation. A moderated panel of speakers will discuss Pittsburgh's impressive accomplishments and inspire with success stories of their own. 

Guest speaker Juan Coronado from Bacardi Limited will be flying into Pittsburgh just for the event to reveal how his team strives to manage environmental and social impacts responsibly while growing sales. Coronado, a 18-plus year veteran of the food and wine industry, is the Bacardi team’s brand ambassador and has been featured in publications ranging from GQ and Saveur and Details to The Washington Post.

Also at this year's event, Duquesne University Center for Green Industries will present its 3rd Annual Pennsylvania Sustainable Small Business Award and invite the winner to speak on the panel.
