Passport to Wine Tasting featuring South America

Join us in the imposing beauty of the 1^st Floor Ballroom at the University Club as we are thrilled to discuss the incredible and wide-ranging wines of South America! 

In a casual presentation format, we will discuss South America's unique history, with a focus on the regions and grapes of Argentina & Chile. The amazing wines and stories of South American viticulture are truly unique and are certainly a crowd favorite.

We will offer 6 unique wines specially chosen for this tasting, as well as a wonderful Argentinian entree served by our talented kitchen.

Our Chef's Selection is an Argentinian dish of... 
Braised chicken and tasso ham served along side sweet potatoes, peppers, and onions paired with a mango quinoa salad and red pepper chimichurri.

About a half-hour presentation will coincide with all the wines to be enjoyed in front of each guest. After the presentation, the entrée will be served and the rest of the evening is to be enjoyed by guests with their friends and family. Additional beverages may be purchased in the adjacent College Room Bar.

Seating for the event will be at shared tables of 5-8 guests. We will do our best to accommodate larger groups - contact us at mearle@pitt.edu if you have another guest/group who purchased tickets that you wish to sit with.
