Pittsburgh’s Bicentennial Birthday Bash
Honorary chair Mayor William Peduto and Andrew Masich, President and CEO of the History Center and Chair of the Pittsburgh Bicentennial Commission, invite all guests 21+ to experience a party 200 years in the making.
Party goers will enjoy live music from the Move Makers Band, Etta Cox Jazz Trio, Billy Price Band, and Joe Grushecky and The Houserockers, delicious food provided by Common Plea catering, cash bars, and a one-of-a-kind birthday cake featuring Pittsburgh’s skyline and rivers all while networking with peers and exploring the History Center’s six floors of award-winning exhibitions. This celebration will also highlight how Pittsburgh has changed the world while unveiling the new Pittsburgh: A Tradition of Innovation exhibition.
Throughout 2016, the Pittsburgh Bicentennial Commission and the Senator John Heinz History Center are celebrating the bicentennial of the City of Pittsburgh’s official incorporation in 1816. The 200th anniversary offers an opportunity for the city, region, and world to celebrate all that makes Pittsburgh extraordinary and visionary, while bridging the past and the future.

Once purchased, tickets are non-refundable. Guests must arrive before 10:15pm on July 8, 2016 to be granted admission into the museum for the event. Tickets are available on a first come, first serve basis and may be sold out once capacity is reached. All guests must be 21 or older to enter, and will be asked for identification.
