Medea

Low born and living as an outsider in the land of Corinth, Medea is spurned by her husband Jason, who plans to exile her and marry a Corinthian princess.  Driven mad by betrayal and scorn, Medea goes to the most extreme measures to exact a revenge that has haunted the imagination of mankind since the play was first produced in 431 B.C.
