Maker Faire is the "Greatest Show (and Tell) on Earth"—a family-friendly festival of invention, creativity and resourcefulness, and a celebration of the maker movement.

Part science fair, part county fair, and part something entirely new, Maker Faire is an all-ages gathering of tech enthusiasts, crafters, educators, tinkerers, hobbyists, engineers, science clubs, authors, artists, students, and commercial exhibitors. All of these “makers” come to Maker Faire to show what they have made and to share what they have learned.

Saturday, April 22: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM 
Sunday, April 23: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Ticket Redemption
Please print your ticket email confirmation or have your phone ready at the show for scanning.  Stay tuned to Maker Faire Chicago newsletter and social media updates for more details on show entry as we approach the show dates.  On show days, look for signage or staff to assist in the show entry process.   Our goal is to make sure you gain access to the show floor as quickly as possible so it is critical that you have your ticket confirmation or phone accessible and ready to be scanned.

Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo (C2E2) Ticket Add-on
You have the option to purchase a ticket for the adjoining C2E2 show at a discount.  Selection is made in the Add-on section.  Please note that C2E2 tickets are sold for the specific show day.

About C2E2 
The Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo – also known as C2E2 – is a comic book and pop culture convention spanning the latest and greatest from the world of comics, movies, television, toys, anime, manga and video games. From a Show Floor packed with hundreds of Exhibitors and Artist Alley members, to Panels, Autograph Sessions and screening rooms featuring sneak peeks at upcoming films and television shows, C2E2 gives Fans a chance to interact with their favorite Creators and Celebrities and delivers a weekend of pop culture and fandom in downtown Chicago.

Maker Faire Chicago tickets are not refundable, and cannot be upgraded or resold.

Please note: Magazine is bi-monthly and your first issue should arrive in approximately 8 weeks.

Companions for those that require Medical Assistance need to buy a Ticket.

Maker Faire has a zero tolerance policy for harassment of any kind. If a person engages in harassing behavior, event staff will take prompt action, including expulsion from Maker Faire with no refund. Our policy applies to everyone at the convention.
