SOLD OUT! PIF with The Jakob's Ferry Stragglers

So, we "bought" one of our very favorite bands via a crowdfunding event. What to do when you have The Jakob's Ferry Stragglers at your disposal for an entire evening? Well, when you have a stage in your own backyard and a loyal community of music-loving friends, you use the party to seed funding for a series of good-paying local music home shows. 

We are limiting attendance to 50 adults. Here is the Pay It Forward twist: Your donation will be used to pay the sound tech and the band at the next MNOJ Pay It Forward Series home show. We hope to do at least six of these shows before the weather turns cold again. The final show of the series (sometime this Fall) will be "free" and open to everyone who has donated at a prior Pay It Forward show.

These events will be potluck-to-share and BYOB. Ages 21+ please, but kids are welcome to attend with their parents. No donation requested for kids.

Bring some extra $$ to buy merch from the band! We have 60 folding chairs but feel free to bring your own chairs or blankets. The show goes on rain or shine unless it is an unending monsoon. 

Public Service Announcement: Collecting donations in advance and limiting attendance is intended to help ensure that the audience is truly interested in the performers and in respectfully experiencing the music. There is nothing wrong with hooting and hollering and clapping and singing and dancing when the music moves you, but this series of shows won't be background music to talk over, promise.
