Lights, born Valerie Poxleitner, hails from Toronto, ON and brings her electropop, new wave, and synthpop style with her. Some of her hits, you’ve likely heard working their way up the charts including: “Drive My Soul”, “February Air”, “Ice”, and most recently “Up We Go”. In 2009, she claimed the Juno Award for “New Artist of the Year” for her gold selling album, The Listening. This year’s Juno’s were just as successful when she claimed “Pop Album of the Year” for, Light Machines. Without doubt, her music has a contagious, youthful vitality that will have you moving and swaying!
