LEAP: The Human Kindness Project returns to present a stage production created and performed by Door County high school students to address social change with this year's theme: Inclusion.
LEAP, an acronym that means “Learning to Empower and Appreciate all People,” is a student-led, adult-facilitated program that gathers students from local high schools to address an issue of social change. Each year, the group collaborates with a team of local writers, musicians, actors, choreographers and directors to identify a societal issue, then works together from November to April to learn about and design a response. The program culminates in an original creation of music, dance, multimedia imagery, spoken word and theater through which the students express their approaches to the issue, share their ideas for a solution, convey the educational material that brought them to that conclusion, convey the educational material that brought them to that conclusion, and challenge the audience to shift their own perspectives.
Student pricing: free admission is available for this performance. Per policy, this discounted pricing is available to any youth through high school. To receive a free student ticket, you must first select your seat and then choose "Youth."
