Dundee Fields Sheep Farm & Apiary


Part of our Knit One, Tour Too series


Want to know where your yarn comes from? Interested in bee keeping? Join us for a visit to Dundee Fields Sheep Farm & Apiary. Home to several rare breeds of sheep, we will also visit their natural dye garden, talk with the farmer and purchase local yarn right from the source. We will also have the opportunity to talk with the bee keeper and enjoy a honey tasting, then enjoy a farm-to-table lunch right on the farm!

 

Tour includes shuttle, guide, catered lunch, demonstrations, guided tour of the site, bottled water and a snack.

 This tour will last approximately 5.5 hours. 


A portion of the proceeds from each tour goes to North Hills Community Outreach, a nonprofit serving those in need in the North Hills.


First Pick-up at 9:45 AM downtown Pittsburgh pick up at Station Square, 125 W. Station Square, across from parking garage. Tour shuttle departs at 10 AM.


Second Pick-up at 10:30 AM at Kings Restaurant, 105 VIP Drive, Wexford, PA 15090, just off I-79. Guests to park near 79-side of the restaurant up by the greenhouse/windows part of the building. Shuttle to depart by 10:40 AM.
