Penzance Point Hydrangea Talk and Tea

As part of the Cape Cod Hydrangea Festival, horticulturalist Marcia Chapman, manager of Soares Flower Garden Nursery in East Falmouth, will give a talk on all things hydrangea. She will include information on compact and re-blooming varieties, which she says are especially desirable, as well as pruning, care and feeding, winter protection, and how to change coloration.

Ms. Chapman will provide a complementary potted hydrangea for each attendee.

A tea, featuring a delightful selection of elegant finger foods, some horticulturally inspired, will follow Marcia Chapman’s illustrated talk.

Seating is limited, and interested individuals are encouraged to purchase their tickets, $30, in advance through this site or from the Woods Hole Public Library, Eight Cousins Book Store, or the Bank of Woods Hole. More information is available by calling at the Woods Hole Public Library website.
