Bento-rrific! Sushi Girl will teach you to decorate and shape your foods to make the most kawaii lunch in school.

Sushi Girl (aka Nikki Gilbert) has worked in Japanese restaurants ever since she was a teenager. Nikki moved to Japan where she lived and worked for three years before returning home to Los Angeles to start Sushi Girl®. She was the subject of a prime-time Japanese television show and has been featured on a number of national television programs and has several published articles including the front page of the Los Angeles Times Food Section.

Workshops will fill up quickly, but there will be a ton more fun to experience at Hello Kitty Con such as panels, lectures, games, activities, and more surprises! Visit our Event Info page to learn more.

About Workshops

• Workshops are available each day at 11am, 1pm, 3pm and 5pm.


• Please try to limit to two (2) workshops per day to allow others a chance to experience the fun! 


• Bring your workshop ticket and Hello Kitty Con badge to enter workshop room.


• Your workshop ticket day must match your Hello Kitty Con badge day.  For example, your Thursday Hello Kitty Con badge will not give you access to a Friday workshop.


• Attendees under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a ticketed parent or guardian in this area.


• Workshop tickets are non-refundable, and non-transferable.
