Floral Crown crafting! Poketo presents a lesson in creating a paper flower crown with Blooms in the Air's Ji Kim.

Ji Kim is an architectural designer by day and a self-taught paper florist by night. Ji developed a love for sculpting paper flowers upon discovering the sculptural properties of European crepe paper, which resulted in Blooms in the Air, a petite and whimsical paper flower shop.

Founded in 2003 by husband-and-wife team Ted Vadakan and Angie Myung, Poketo has become widely recognized as an online destination for innovative art and design. Poketo has two retail locations in Los Angeles, The Flagship location and The Line Hotel. The Poketo stores also presents art shows, workshops, and unique public events.

About Workshops

• Workshops are available each day at 11am, 1pm, 3pm and 5pm.


• Please try to limit to two (2) workshops per day to allow others a chance to experience the fun! 


• Bring your workshop ticket and Hello Kitty Con badge to enter workshop room.


• Your workshop ticket day must match your Hello Kitty Con badge day.  For example, your Thursday Hello Kitty Con badge will not give you access to a Friday workshop.


• Attendees under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a ticketed parent or guardian in this area.


• Workshop tickets are non-refundable, and non-transferable.
