Girls Rock! at TechShop

It’s time for the fall edition of TechShop Pittsburgh’s 21+ Night Fundraiser! We are proud to sponsor Girls Rock! Pittsburgh, the local branch of a global organization that teaches music and leadership skills to girls and young women. Your ticket gets you more than through the door! Some of the best local restaurants, cafes, confectioners, brewers and distilleries are partnering with us to provide a small plate dining and tasting experience while you explore our 16,000-square-foot DIY makerspace. Shop the TechShop Maker Market, grab a drink, watch equipment demos and local performers, roll up your sleeves and get hands-on, or just dance the night away! 

Some event highlights

-Join us at 7pm to hear performances from Girls Rock! Youth are welcome to view these performances from 7PM - 9PM. After 9PM, 21+ attendees only.
-Local DJs will take over after 9PM and we will have performances from Steel Town Fire, live digital painting, games from City of Play and hands on activities with TechShop staff.
-Enjoy free tours of TechShop with expert Dream Consultants
-Experience live demonstrations from TechShop experts in blacksmithing, waterjet cutting, laser cutting, screen printing, and CNC routing
-Shop the Member Maker Market, TechShop’s vibrant craft pop-up vending space.
-Small plates and drinks from some of our favorite places are included with your ticket! We will be joined by Spork, Prohibition Pastries Eliza's Oven, Harris Grill, Sweet Little Eats, Spun Sugars, Chaz & Odette, Wigle Whiskey, PA Brew Tours, Three Rivers Underground Brewing, The Pittsburgh Juice Company and more! 
-Come dressed in your finest Rock ‘n’ Roll attire and enter our costume contest from 7-9PM for the chance to win a 3-month membership + 2 classes at TechShop Pittsburgh!

Girl’s Rock! is helping to create a new generation of empowered and talented women and we couldn’t be more proud to help them succeed.
