Gathering of the Heroes

You are cordially invited to the Greater Boston Chinese Cultural Association (GBCCA) Chinese Music Ensembles’ annual concert.

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of The Chinese Music Ensemble, this year’s annual concert will be held in New England Conservatory’s Jordan Hall on Saturday, June 7th 2014.

The concert will consist of sectional pieces, ensemble pieces as well as joint ensembles pieces. In particular, renowned Suona artist Mr. Yazhi Guo () and our conductor, Dr. Chi-Sun Chan () will lead the Wind/Percussion section piece; Erhu artist Ms. Sara Tao He () will lead the Erhu section piece; and Guzheng artist Ms. Shin-Yi Yang () will lead the Guzheng section piece.
This year’s ensemble pieces are selected signature pieces from the past years.
In addition, many former members of the Ensemble and Youth Ensemble will join the grand finale piece: “Gathering of the Heroes.”
