Here in Texas, there is a long living legacy of country music unlike anywhere else in the Unites Stated. For years some of the best singer-songwriters have come from Texas. Unfortunately, majority of the names you would recognize are men.

The GRITs girls stand to make a name in Texas Country that will live on past their days. To encourage one another, to create a sisterhood, to make music on a platform where they will be heard, LOUDER than the boys.

By no means it this a boy-bashing movement - it's an equality movement - and it's about damn time people heard the voices of these women raisin' hell in Texas!
