Follow That Bird w/ Caroll Spinney in person!

Join the Hollywood Theater and Horror Realm in welcoming legendary Big Bird and Oscar the Grouch puppeteer Caroll Spinney to the Hollywood Theater on Saturday, July 25th!  Doors will open at 8:30am, and Mr. Spinney will have merchandise and autographs for sale in the lobby from 9:00am to 10:30am, and introduce the film (along with some Q&A) at 10:35am.  The film will start at 11:00am or shortly after. 

Sesame Street Presents: Follow That Bird is a 1985 American musical comedy adventure road movie, directed by Ken Kwapis, starring many Sesame Street characters (both puppets and live actors). It is the final Muppet film to be released before the death of Jim Henson.

In Follow That Bird, Big Bird (Caroll Spinney) loves spending his days on Sesame Street with all of his different friends. However, social worker Miss Finch (Sally Kellerman) feels that Big Bird should live in an environment with only birds like himself. When she sends him to live with a family of dodos in Illinois, Big Bird cannot help but think of his friends back home. Deciding Sesame Street is the place for him, Big Bird begins an adventurous journey back to where he truly belongs.
