Flatbush Zombies are an East Coast hip hop group from Flatbush, Brooklyn which consists of rappers Meechy Darko, Zombie Juice and producer/rapper Erick Arc Elliott. The group's popularity grew after releasing the "Thug Waffle" video on YouTube. Flatbush Zombies is known for their first release, a mixtape titled D.R.U.G.S., which stands for "Death and Reincarnation Under God's Supervision". The group has recently collaborated with fellow Brooklyn rappers The Underachievers on the single "No Religion," and also released the video for "MRAZ", a track off the group's upcoming mixtape Better off Dead. Flatbush Zombies have also collaborated with artists such as Joey Bada$$, ASAP Rocky, The RZA, Jim Jones, Juicy J, Danny Brown, Kilo Kish and Mr. MFN eXquire. They've performed at festivals such as AfroPunk Festival, Paid Dues, SXSW and Roskilde.
In the vacuum of Latino rappers post Terror Squad, one of the most highly anticipated MCs has emerged. Bodega Bamz is putting Spanish Harlem back on the map with the release of his video for “My Name Is” and changing the game by empowering Spanish people with the Tanboys movement.
