All-State Prep Workshop for Strings

Come prepare your very best Virginia All-State Orchestra audition with the help of VCU String faculty. The day will feature a scale class, excerpt class and master class for each instrument family. We will end the day celebrating what it’s all about: playing in orchestra. The last hour of the day is about playing together, but stress free. This workshop is designed for violinists, violists, cellists and bass players who plan to audition for VA All-State on February 23rd.


Schedule:

1-2pm Scale Class

2-3pm Audition Excerpt Class

3:15-4pm Master Classes with VCU faculty

4-5pm Orchestra Rehearsal and Performance

· reception to follow
